Where you are - where you want to be.

big up. what are you studying at cornell?

i should also point out that i don't actually live in syracuse (although I used to), I live in skaneateles but no one knows where that is who isn't from cny so that's why it says syracuse in my location.

SMC -------> Anywhere but here lol

avtussell, I was last year, but not so sure about this year. As you can probably see, it didn't work out last year despite the great amount of stress and effort I put into transferring. So, right now I'm going to keep my options open. But my heart isn't set on it.

i'm ILR (industrial and labor relations) here at cornell. skaneateles is a beautiful place!

im a history major at umass amherst. id like to be at boston college, rice, or tufts.

or harvard, if im feeling lucky.

Yeah it is. The people here leave something to be desired though. What is IRL like? Are you prelaw?

Wow, lots of kids from UMass this year. I think I was the only one last year. Ha. I guess the Red Sox rioting has just lost its flavor or something.

ILR is the only school/major where i could pursuit my interest in business, law, economics, history, psychology, the works. If it wasn't ILR, i would likely be undecided as far as a major goes. ILR is perfect for me!!!

I might look at law schools ... i've done a few law interships and have loved them. But, i doubt i'll go to grad school right upon graduation (unless i pursuit a masters here at Cornell). I want to look at business schools too, or maybe just get a job to see how i like it for the mean time. ILR has the best placement rates for law schools for any school and major in the country, so i'm certainly covered there!!!

I'm at Riverside Community College- I want to be at Smith, Wellesley or Sarah Lawrence. (The UC's also if any of the above accept me, but give little financial aid to my cause!!!)

at uc berkeley -----> want to be at boston university

at University of Tampa -------> want to be anywhere where I feel like I actually belong somewhere (perferrably that should be in florida and not anywhere cold/snowy :-P)

I am at Fairleigh ****ti.. uhm Dickinson university. I want to transfer to any top respected school. I'm setting my eyes on Brandeis.

Surry Community College to William and mary or University of maine machias

Dartmouth -----> Stanford

Colorado school of mines --> Cornell or McGill

bryn mawr --> tufts, colgate, w&m, bowdoin, georgetown...does anyone know any good schools near colgate (like within 2 hours) that arent cornell, syracuse, and hamilton?

That's interesting. I actually went to Colgate and now I want to transfer to Bryn Mawr (or Barnard). Hobart and William Smith (I think that's the name) is near Colgate although it isn't quite on the same caliber. I also think that Skidmore isn't too far from Colgate. I'm not so sure about Skidmore though.

Do you like you like the area where Colgate is located or do you live close to it? What don't you like about Bryn Mawr?

ScoobyGurl, how many times have you transferred/will transfer?

This will be my second.

I'm at Fordham at Lincoln Center----want to be at either University of Minnesota School of Music or Augsburg College for music therapy
