Which ACT Score should I report?

<p>I have taken the ACT exam two times.</p>

<p>First time I received:</p>

<p>Composite 26
Combined English/Writing 26
Mathematics 26
Reading 25
Science 28</p>

<p>Second time I received:</p>

<p>Composite 25
Combined English/Writing 28
Mathematics 30
Reading 23
Science 21</p>

<p>I realize that while it may be better to send in a better composite score, my major will be mathematics related so I want to show colleges my 30 in Mathematics, and this is in my second time. Because I ended up doing 4 points better on the math section the second time, should I send the second one instead? I think I can send both but WHICH IS BETTER??</p>

<p>I think you should send both. It’s good to have the higher composite, but the categories that matter most are the English and math and those are both higher in the second. If you can only send one, send the second, but I think it would be best to report both. </p>
