Which AP Courses Can I self Study For??

Hey guys, my school doesn't offer ANY AP classes at all, but I have managed to do well self studying. Just wanted u guy's feedback on whether it would be feasable to self study AP chem and bio next year (as a junior)
thanks.

self study AP Physics(I recommend C, but its up to you). It is a very interesting topic and if you are good at math it shouldn’t be too bad. There are MIT OCW lectures that supplement the topic nicely also. I don’t recommend self studying chem since chem is VERY lab based and you won’t understand half the stuff at all without a formal class.

I wouldn’t recommend studying Chem or Physics, actually.

Take a look here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/369861-self-studying-aps-improving-your-app.html

this year i was able to self study physics b, so physics c might be an option.
I’m mainly interested in bio because I’m taking IB HL bio next year, which i think will be more than enough for an AP test.
What other exams would you guys recommend (preferably science based since I’m one of those people who love math and science)

AP Chem is a very difficult subject. Most people should not attempt to self-study it.

AP Bio could be an easier choice especially if one is good at memorizing pages and pages of biological information.

I would suggest against self-studying Chem just because a lot of the concepts aren’t hard in a classroom setting, but I could see equilibrium, acid-base, and electro being hard to learn on your own. Personally, I half self-studied Physics C this year, while taking Physics B. Wasn’t too hard considering I am a math/science person and am in Calc BC. If you already finished Physics B, then you should be fine, although it depends if you learned roational stuff for Mechanics. My Physics A (normal physics) and B covered rotation, so it was pretty straightforward for me (I didnt actually look over anything for Mechanics), and E&M has only a couple of new concepts if you really understood B.

I would say, hit up the easy APs. Go Environmnetal, Psych (I have heard its a joke, but didnt take it), and Human Geo (its literally just vocabulary and some models).
