What AP Exams are the easiest to self study? Or are they all equally challenging? Thanks.

psych was pretty easy. USGov was a tiny bit harder. Ive heard that Envir. Science is easy also, but Ive never taken the test.

hard aps: the English's, physics, calculus, bio, chem, the histories

easy but not "crammable" aps: the foreign languages, the governments, the economics's, the computer sciences, any of the arts (music theory, drawing, sculpture)

easy and somewhat crammable: human geo, psych, stats, environmental science.

this is subjective of course.

Are the hard APs crammable? My planned APs are all in the hard APS except the economics, the governments and the German. I thought STATS was hard though?

The hard aps are crammable only if your REALLY good at science and have alot of prior knowledge on the subject... Otherwise, just play it safe and dont cram for the hard aps (I wouldnt say the "hard aps" listed are hard, but they just take a while to understand, thus cramming is not really a good idea when it comes to those "hard aps").

start early as possible (especially if you have chem) and try to overprepare for each of your aps.

How does one prepare for English?

you might be able to cram for any of them, if you have the skills necessary to understand each particular course's material. For example, you could cram for any of the histories if you know the themes and how to study for each topic.

For English language, you can't really prepare except by reading various works in the literary genre. If you can't understand the writing of political philosophers, social critics, scientists, economists, etc., then the only way of preparing is simply by trying to read them, and pretty soon you'll acquire the skills necessary to understand them.

For English lit, you have to become a little more deep and humanistic to understand the poetry and prose.

us gov is easy to self study. There's not a lot of info. to cover, and the exam is cake.
