I’m trying Environmental Science and Biology as a freshman.

Ahh, good luck with that.^ I’m taking AP Bio this year. (as a junior)

calc ab
psychology
environmental science
biology

In Class: AP Chemistry and AP English
Self-Studying: AP Psychology and AP Human Geography
@post#20: Good luck with AP World History It wasn’t exactly a hard class, or AP test but the preparation is key. Just for some advice: Make notecards and work on those essay skills :)

None, as I’m doing the IB Diploma.

Uhh…going to try AP Chem because the accelerated class (highest option. losers.) is an appalling joke. We’re going to be learning the metric system and relearning how to balance equations for the whole first quarter, which is actually typical for my school, but…ahem!

Also going to go for AP Music Theory because I think I do have a chance of doing well there. Possibly Microeconomics because it seems pretty interesting, and I’m dreaming about doing something for physics as well, since my school (gah!) doesn’t allow anyone to take any physics (meaning regular or accelerated. No AP) until senior year. Though that probably won’t happen. It’ll be nice to learn some more things, regardless.

So all you kids with lots of APs that your nice, supportive counselors actually want you to take, feel blessed.

None, two varsity sports take up a lot of time and my philosophy is that colleges like to see you do more meaningful things with your life than be locked up inside all day studying.

Self studying: Human Geo, Computer Science A (This year)

Taking: English, Environmental Science, and Psychology (next year)

I’m going to try and do as many of these as I can:

Calc AB
Physics C: E&M
Physics C: M
Chemistry
Stats
Psych
Micro
Macro
Euro Hist
Comparative Gov
Art History
English Lit

While taking these classes:

World History
Human Geography
Lang
Computer Science A
Physics B

No, I’m not insane (probably), I just love challenging myself. As long as I start now (which I am) it should be manageable.

Sophomore year, I am not self studying anything. My school has most all the AP courses available, so I will just take them this year and the following two years.

The only classes I will maybe be self studying is AP World History and AP Calc BC when I take Calc AB my senior year.

@Aj39vn23cf2: are you trying to do all of those in one year? If so, you will do more harm than good. Keep in mind that while good AP scores can help you, several poor scores will drag you down.

Also, most of the time, colleges are interested in seeing whether or not you took the class, because they know many people self-study the easy APs to pad their resume (which doesn’t really work)
