Is the School of Education easier to get into than the Arts and Sciences School? What kind of SAT/ACT and GPA is each school looking for?
Lynch has a smaller applicant pool but each needs to show the admissions officers a tangible commitment to education that reflects Jesuit ideals. It is a self-selecting bunch.

Which BC school is easiest to get into?

This is almost impossible to answer because so much of it depends on you.
I see in your other posts that you seem focused on SATs and GPA. Your academic profile is often used to show that you’re capable of doing the work. Once that is established, the adcoms can then look closer at the other more important parts of your application.
Do you have a sense for which school at BC appeals to you the most?
I am most interested in the education school but can’t get a sense of what kind of scores they’re looking for. BC only puts out average ACT/SAT for BC overall and doesn’t break it down by school. I’m trying to figure out if there are variations by school. Hoping some current students could share their impressions.
@swazzella99:
One thing you could do is to look through the recent years “decision” threads on this forum. It will take you hours to do, and it will only represent a sampling, and there will only be a few who applied to the education school, but it will give you some insight.
Having said that, please remember that SAT/ACT scores are only one component of an application. Yes, they are important and the higher they are, the better. But in those threads you will see some with strong scores who did not get accepted, and you will also see many with lower scores who did get accepted.
Here is another view. How badly do you want to get accepted to BC?
I ask that because I have seen some in your situation sign up for SAT/ACT prep classes, spend nearly every waking hour doing practice tests (over and over and over again), and then retake the tests in November - with good results.
If education is what you’re most interested in, then apply to the LSOE. Don’t worry about A&S if that’s not where your interests lie.
It is not easy to do an internal transfer once admitted at BC. Almost impossible to internally transfer to Carroll.
