I’m currently stuck on which school is best to transfer to based on better business program. It’s between CSU San Marcos, CSU Chico (project management), CSU Monterey Bay (management and intl business or sustainable hospitality management), or SDSU. Help me out with some facts and comparison.
I’d rank them like this
SDSU
Chico
SM
MB
but don’t get too hung up on that - think about where you can get in, then make the most of that. Apply to several schools that are likely to accept you and you’d be happy to attend - make the call once all your admits are in.
SDSU is a really tough transfer target unless you are a local applicant. You’ll need a 3.5+ GPA to be competitive. Note -tagging UCR is easier. Chico will look for a 3.3ish. the others lower.
what’s your GPA?
if you are right around 3.0, SJ, Sac and Sonoma are worth a shot. If lower EB and SF would be good targets
You might also want to consider CSU Fullerton. Not an easy admit, but very good Business programs. I also concur with the above rankings for the CSU’s of interest.
