Which California CC Should I Pick?

I'm an international student studying at a Washington CC and would like to transfer to a California CC this fall. I heard that lots of CC in California have been affected by the economy and they're cutting lots of classes. SO, I'm wondering which communty colleges are less affected??Here is the list of schools that I'm interested in:

City College of San Francisco
Mt. San Antonio College
Pasadena City College
Diablo Valley College

p.s. B.A Architecture@Berkeley is my goal.

Pasadena City College. I go there, wasn’t that hard for me to get my classes since its not as filled as Mt Sac …its FILLED with LOTS of students.

I’d research which CC offers the most lower division requirements. Check assist.org to see if all or any of them do. If money is also an issue, cross off the community colleges that are in areas where it could be hard for you to pay rent in.

Actually those are the colleges that offer the most courses for my major. I’m thinking about DVC - is it hard to get classes there?

Go to a school that is more quiet and has a smaller population if you ask me. Don’t go to Pasadena City College. The campus is in an area that is semi-ghetto, there are sometimes bums that hang around the campus, the campus is overcrowded, you cannot get classes, people are so weird there, and the learning disabilities service on campus downright sucks!

I wouldn’t go to CCSF - they were definitely hit with cuts. Other CCs around them are faring better. Not sure about the other ones you specifically mentioned.
