I noticed that another student asked for advice on campuses, so I thought I'd do the same since I'm torn between McCormick on Busch and Jameson on Douglass (I'm in the honors program). I plan on majoring in English and political science, but some people have told me that the first year is spent on distributive requirements, so my major doesn't really matter as much at this point.

I like Douglass because it seems like all my classes are either there or on College Ave, and I'm not sure of how the bus system works (is it easy to get lost or stuck in traffic?) The externship program seems cool, and the fact that alumni are eager to help out by contributing money and resources is nice. But, while I don't mind living with a bunch of girls, I am a little wary of it since I don't like drama. Plus, how are the communal bathrooms? Also, it seems like most of my high school friends are headed to Busch...

As for Busch, I've heard that the suites at McCormick are super nice, and since a lot of my friends will be in that building, I'm not as worried about making friends (or ending up as a recluse). Also, not having to share a bathroom with as many people is a plus, though I'm a little worried about the clean-up. I've been told that it's a science-y campus, so how's the commute to College Ave. and Douglass (since my classes are there)?

I like good food, and being close to a library would be great, as well. I think both of them are supposed to be equal in that regard, but I'm not sure.

So, what do you think?
