Hi, I am a high school senior (come fall) trying to plan for my future--college and beyond. As of now, two fields of career have appealed to me the most: the medical field and the business field. Yet they are completely different fields, and I have no preference of one over the other, so I need advice on what you think will offer me the best future. I know that becoming a doctor, pharmacist, or anything medical will offer better job security and that only the top business graduates make the big bucks, but I'm not sure if I have it in me to withstand the rigors of medical school and the medical path.

As time goes by you will probably find that you would prefer one over the other, if not something else completely. Take some classes from each once you’re in college (or this year even) and take it from there. There will be plenty of time to change your mind, and many people do.

Whatever your heart desires. With knowledge and passion, money follows. You shouldn’t do something with money in mind. (I’m not accusing you of doing so, just a general statement.)
