We are all brilliant here, but which celeb would you bring...

Well pick two, and give reasons... One male and one female.

Male:
Tom Hanks. He is a good actor, his movies are not flops, and he has a human side to him; which cannot be said about many actors. Yeah he is a bit old but I think it would definitely enhance a BS experience. Hugh Laurie would be great too.

Female:
I am wavering between Meryl Streep and Hayden Panettiere. I cannot, as of yet, say the latter is an amazing actress. I would go with the Hayden just because of age, and I guess... looks (male promiscuity, I guess :P). Heroes is probably one of the better TV shows and she is a good actor.

hahaha actually, thats really funny
meryl streeps kids used to go to my private school (they graduated when i was a bit younger) and i think they went to a boarding school, but as day students.

i would DEF bring johnny depp or orlando bloom. i would have them walk around with me on campus the first day…that would be awesome!! xD

Male: I really can’t say. There are soooo many hotttt celebs out there…I can’t choose!
so probably someone like Morgan Freeman. Old, wise, lots of life experienced, etc. Or Mel Gibson…

Female: Ellen DeGeneres! She is sooooooo funny!

If there were any non *****y celebrities actors that I actually liked that are my age I would apply to their college…

Unfortunately my generation either includes people like Miley Cyrus or people who won’t go to/get into college anyway…

In terms of looks (I really like actors who are actually GOOD, looks really help because movies rely heavily on aesthetics) I would go: Hayden (I heard she will be going to college in 3 years, so maybe :P), Jessica Alba, Aishwarya Rai (now she is a bit older, so not as much…)

By the way I am not trying to sound shallow at all, just for fun.

I wonder if Senay will be here to vouch for Brittany Spears

ugh our generation sucks. The only celebs are completely untalented and mass-marketed (ie the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, etc.)

Some of the 19-23 year olds are ok but idk if they count as our generation.

Getting married to them isn’t TOTALLY out of the possibility, just around the chance of getting into Exeter with a late application and bad essay.

I am actually a fan of good film. Lawrence of Arabia was amazing, film class is actually really fun. It was fun watching the idiots who took that class for a “fun and easy” thing get Ds and Fs.

haha same here
but i dont like the movies my film teacher picks out. i positively hated "No Country for Old Men "the
the movies i picked off the list for at home assignments were good, though. Especially Braveheart

Lawrence of Arabia
Godfather
No country for Old men
Atonement
Citizen Kane (AMAZING)
City Lights
Searchers
Vertigo
Raging Bull
Space Odyssey
To kill a mocking bird

Jaws
The Fifth Element
Twelve Monkeys
The Island
Alien (Awesome!)
No Country For Old Men
Raising Arizona
The Princess Bride
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Big Fish
Hero
Crash

Ha, this is a totally random thread, but it’s a nice replecment than the anxious freaking out one’s that are popping up as we get closer to the 10th.

I would bring James Mcavoy. I just saw Wanted (twice, I might add. It’s my new favorite movie) and I loved him in it. (he was in Atonement as well)
He is super hot and I like how he was bad a** ( BA as kids in my school say) he was in Wanted.
^^ that might be a little wierd seeing how I’m applying to an all girls school but what ever he’s hot.

Girl idk, no one from my generation, I don’t really think many people our age can act. At least not as good as the people who’ve been doing it for years. (Well that was an obvious statement if I’ve ever seen one) haha I’m going to go now.
