I am looking to go to a Christian University to study music. Does anyone know which schools have the strongest reputations in music? I am primarily interested in schools in the midwest region.

I would consider a Christian school in Nashville, so many Christian artists reside in the area ( Franklin) now. You will get an education and hopefully be better able to network.

How about Belmont?
[Belmont University | Nashville, TN Undergraduate Programs - Belmont University](http://www.belmont.edu/academicprograms/undergraduate-programs.html)

Does any adolescent read beyond music anymore?

I have heard Whitworth in WA has a good music program.

Funny, I was going to say Belmont as well.

St. Olaf in Minnesota. There is another thread asking the same question - perhaps the moderators can combine them.

Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee does. They had a choir sing at the inauguration and many other notable performances.
