Which Class Should I Not Take?

I am a little slow on the whole 'declaring major' thing.
I'm currently a sophomore at Duke.
I either want to major in Sociology or Math.

I can major in both (that will require some overloading to fulfill other requirements).
However, I was looking at other paths at first and am now pretty behind.

Here's what I've taken so far.
Sociology (FOCUS Seminar)
Math (Math 103)

So if I want to major in Sociology, I need to take ten more classes.
If I want to major in Math, I need to take eight more classes.

Here are the six classes I'm looking at.. I'm fine with any combo since I will only have class four days a week.
(No class on Monday and absolutely no time conflict)

Math
MATH 104 (Linear Algebra)
MATH 131 (Differential Equations)

Sociology
SOCIOL 10 (Intro to Sociology)
SOCIOL 138 (Theory and Society)

Econ
ECON 182 (Intro to Accounting)

Spanish
SPANISH 101 (Spanish Writing.. this is the class I need to take to finish requirements, :( am taking 76 this semester- I think it may be best to get this class out of the way before I forget everything from 76).

My current plans are law school but I may switch over to getting a PHD in Math or a Masters in Accounting depending on interests/academic plans.

I'm not going to officially declare a major till mid-March.

Math and Sociology are important due to majors and stuff.
Econ 182 is more due to a 'curious elective' and I heard the class is easier than say.. Math 131.
Spanish 101.. I would take this class out in a heartbeat but I need to finish my FL requirement and I think I'd do worse in the class in later semesters since I'm taking 76 now.
Which class do you think I should drop?

In my opinion, you should take Math 104, Soc 10, Econ 182, and Spanish 101. I didn't take 131 (took 107 and 108), but some part of differential equations require at least a basic knowledge of linear algebra. Plus, 104 is easier than 131. And, personally, I wouldn't want to take two math courses at once, but you're considering majoring in math so that's obviously not a concern. Intro to Soc is important to take as soon as possible, in my opinion, since it's a broad overview of the subject and will give you more insight into if you want to major in it or not. And Spanish 101 because you should get the FL requirement out of the way ASAP when it's fresh in your mind. Econ 182 will also help you explore you interests more and fulfills additional T-req requirements. I'd hold off on 131 since it's harder and i'd only take it if you're definitely going to major in math. I'd also hold off on a sociology elective for the moment as I think a broader based class will give you more insight. Sociology and Math are QUITE different majors (nothing wrong with that, of coures). Clearly, law schools/companies will be far more impressed with a math degree than a sociology degree. But, by all means, if you enjoy sociology the most, there's nothing wrong with majoring in it as you shouldn't choose your major based on what is going to "impress" others. But, if you change your mind by senior year and decide to get a job, companies in finance for example will consider you much more seriously as a math major (or double major obviously)....FWIW, I took 1 sociology course (Soc 10) and 5 math courses (31, 32, 103, 107, 108) as well as one stats. Soc 10 for me had no tests and only papers...it was more work than I expected since it supposedly is an very easy course, but the concepts were fairly simple. Just a lot of papers in short periods (the mid-term and finals were three 4 page papers in a 48 hour period). My professor only taught the course that one semester and is no longer at Duke. And the grading was moderately easy, although it wasn't as if everybody got an A.
