Which classes should I take?

Okay, I'm currently in high school and I'm trying to plan out my schedule for next semester. I plan on majoring in the business field. Which classes do you suggest I take?

what grade are you in?

honestly it doesn't matter. any business classes you take in high school won't really help you much for your major. what you need to know for business you'll learn in college.

what school are you trying to go to? are you trying to go to a top-tier university? if so then take the most rigorous courseload you can. make sure you take ap calculus and ap english.

i'll need to know a little more info about your grade, grades, and schools of choice.

ok im only a freshman. i know people say dont do things to try to impress colleges but like i want to show that i have like a focus on business. should i take like acadamy of finance class or is it not worth it.

i wanna go to wharton which is probably gonna be impossible. my bro went there and i kinda wanna follow in his footsteps. or somewhre alone the line if haas or stern.

Well its good that you're starting early. The most important thing is that you get the best grades possible. For wharton it will be good if you take AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC and AP Micro/Macro Economics. Take all honors and AP Classes. Finance class would be good if its an elective. For electives its fine if you take finance, marketing and whatnot but just not too many. Take them because you want to take them. Not to get you into wharton, because they wont.

Just do well in the most rigorous courseload you can take. Thats the best advice I can give you.

ok the calc thing cud be a problem. rite now im in geometry honors. next year is alg 2 junior year is pre calc and senior year id have calc ab. hmm. and idk where besdies online i cud take calc.

just double up with alg 2 and pre calc.

anyways, the most important thing is that you have one year of calculus. Is your school on block schedule or regular?

im on a regular schedule. i dont think my school will allow me to do alg 2 and pre calc.

Do either alg 2 or pre calc. There the same thing. Only do this if you are really good at math though.

how are alg 2 and calc arent anywhere the same thing. and i cant do one or the other i have to figur out a way to do both.

Algebra One and Pre Calc are not the Same thing. Pre calc is is a combination of trigonometry and algebra. It is the course which comes after algebrat two and is sometimes referred to as Algebra 3/Trig or advanced functions and modeling.

These are pretty basic math courses. Only take AP Calculus if you are good at math. These classes however should be fairly easy for anyone who is the slightest bit studious.

At your school, does one class last the entire year or just one semester? I am asking this because the school I go to has block scheduling(4 periods per day, 90 minutes per period, classes last one semester). If you don't and AP Calculus AB is the farthest you'll get it is okay.
