Which college is better for STEM program Santa Monica College or Pasadena City College?

Hello there, I am planning to start my college education this fall, but I have a lot of questions and ideas which I need to organize before taking a decision. I live in Glendale (which is 20 minutes away from Pasadena College) and I am in the dilemma of attending either Santa Monica College (if I attend SMC, I will have to use the bus to get there) or Pasadena College. I know that both are good. Some people tell me to attend Pasadena because the commute is shorter, however, others tell me to attend Santa Monica because they have a better STEM program and I will have more opportunities to transfer later to UCLA, UC Irvine or UC Berkeley. I would like to read some advice or recommendations from you because I know that the commute will be long to SMC but I really want to have the possibility to transfer to a good University later. Thanks for your time, I really appreciate.

Use http://www.assist.org to see which community college has better coverage for the courses that you need for your major at the various target UCs and CSUs.

Thanks ucbalumnus, I will compare both colleges on that website. Really appreciate.
