Which colleges for me? [INTERNATIONAL STUDENT]

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT - INDIAN

Hello!
I am in Class 11th(CBSE) and have decided to apply for some US Universities. I am not sure if there are some good universities under my budget (around 50k for 4 years). Also, I am unsure if it’s worth going to the US for undergrad because the US is at least 4-5X expensive than attending a top-tier College in India.
Class 10th - 10 CGPA
SAT - (Not yet given) - Scored 1420/1600 in practice SAT.

Science and IT related achievements -
KVPY Fellow (Given to 1000 students every year)
State topper in Science, Math and Computer Science in IAIS conducted by NSW, Australia
Leader of the Science Club and the Robotics Club
Have secured All India Rank less than 50 in several private olympiads.
Country Rank 3 in National Creativity Olympiad
Won medals in several City and State-level Science Quizzes and Science Exhibitions.
Have made several projects in Python /C++(available on GitHub) and represented School in several coding competitions and also in Web-Designing and IT Quizzes.
(Have decent position on HackerRank, if that counts)
Will appear for the Informatics and Physics Olympiad this year.
Also, I have participated in several Robotics Competitions.

ECs-
Won most of the School Level and City Level Debate competitions
Member of the Indian Model United Nations Club
Won an award recently in Dance and Lawn Tennis
Best Delegate in MUN conducted by School
Participated in several other fields but didn’t win anything significant.
Kindly suggest some colleges keeping in mind that financial aid is a must.

Thanks in Advance!

Is that 50k per year? Or 50k total for all four years (about 12k per year)

50k total for all four years. I am not sure even if that’s possible or not.

No replies?

With an annual budget of $12k, there really aren’t affordable schools unless you get into a school that will give you huge merit to cover the other costs…but we don’t know what your test scores are.

Keep in mind that health insurance, personal expenses, and international travel will cost you about $8k per year.

Go to Intenational students section, there you will find colleges that you will be able to afford (if you get accepted of course)

Read through all of the information at https://educationusa.state.gov/ then contact the counselors at the advising center closest to where you live. There are a number of locations in India: https://educationusa.state.gov/find-advising-center?field_region_target_id=&field_country_target_id=306&field_center_level_value=All
Those counselors will be able to tell you where students like you have been admitted in recent years, and whether or not those students received aid packages that made a US education affordable.
