Hi, I would like to learn mobile app development, preferably attending any short term course. I have little knowledge in coding. Is it possible for me to do mobile application development courses without coding knowledge? If so, which course should I choose, ios or android? Do I need to go to any training or crash course on coding before attending mobile app development course?
The answer to the main question entirely depends on why you want to learn app development.
Programming in general isn’t something you can pick up quickly with no knowledge, but if you have some experience, a crash course could serve your purposes of getting the basics. It also completely varies by the crash course.
Thank you PengsPhills.
learn objective-c, then begin to learn iOS development
or if you want to do android, learn java, then do android development
you must know programming basics and fundamentals to learn app development
I would think that it would be easier to start developing on an Android device because you can use Windows and easily transfer your applications onto an Android device. With iOS devices it’s a little more complicated to get the apps up and running quickly, you gotta have an Apple computer and pay for an account to make apps for the app store. I have heard though that it is easier to program with things like Swift than writing with Java for Android.I easily made a few apps and put them on my HTC one for actual testing instead of using the virtual phone.
