Which courses to choose...?

For summer registration, should I pick out what classes I want to take beforehand (if so,where can I see these courses)? And as a biology major, will I really have that many options to choose from or will my courses be relatively similar to other bio majors? -thanks

Go to that site, click on "Degree Programs" in the left hand column, select which program you are in, and it will give you a list the typical 4-year plan for your program.

fyi, unless you are planning to go into teaching, your general education requirements can be met from a wide range of courses.

You can look for courses in the online catalog at <a href="http://courses.uiuc.edu/cis/catalog/urbana/2007/Fall/%5B/url%5D">http://courses.uiuc.edu/cis/catalog/urbana/2007/Fall/</a></p>

Also, don't plan on getting all of your course at ANY of the times you wanted. Actually, plan on getting like 1-2 of the courses you really want. You're probably going to get shafted your first semester (don't settle for 8 AM classes btw lol), if you are a James Scholar your second semester should turn out really nice.
