I'm still undecided about which CUNY to choose for Macaulay Honors. My intended major is Chemistry or Math. Pre-med/dental probably.

Queens- I would be able to stay home, get a car probably =D, but I've never associated it with anything other than humanities, education, or music

City- I've always considered it the science-y CUNY school, so hopefully it would be good for that.. but I heard the area isnt that good =p

Hunter- Not sure how majoring in Chem would be here, but regarded as the/one of the best CUNYs

Queens has a very rigorous math program that you must do if you are a math major in Macaulay. It uses Spivak’s textbook, which highly ranked schools such as CalTech and UChicago use for their math major sequence

Have you ever been to Queens College? WHERE do you think you’d park that car? You’d be better off living in the dorms, which I hear are very nice from my friends whose kids live there (at least one is a Macauley student). My DD was accepted to Queens and was going to go and dorm there, but she opted for an upstate SUNY instead.

Queens has no parking and it hasn’t since well before I first set foot there 35 years ago.

CCNY is not in a good area. Hunter has really no collegiate life.
