I am currently finishing my Gen Ed classes and enrolled in the BS Electrical Engineering Technology but I am curious if the BS Engineering Technology would have better job outlooks. I am sorry if I am rehashing an old thread I just could not find anything online. Just a heads up I have ruled out an Engineering degree due to commute to the nearest school that offers it.

Difference between engineering and engineering technology:
http://www.abet.org/engineering-vs-engineering-technology/
http://www.rit.edu/emcs/admissions/academics/majors/engineering-tech-or-engineering

I think this is more the along the lines of Engineering Technology (General) vs Electrical Engineering Technology. Honestly I don’t know for sure which would be better in the job market but I would assume the EET degree would be better than a general degree.
