Which governor school should i apply to?

i live in nj
im intending to major in business as an undergrad, so im trying to find the most fitful governor school for me (that looks best on my application lol)
im not sure if its just my state… but anyway, there are 6 different governor schools offered from my school

public issue

art

science

environment

international studies

engineering

evidently, im definitely not applying to 2 and 4
i think i narrowed down my choice to science, international studies, and engineering

which one should i apply to???

thanks in advance

I was accepted to three Governor's Schools, but my counseor advised me to go to science because it was the most well known.

I thought applicantions were done months ago.......

are there governor's schools open to dc kids, or is it just in-state?

to zetsui

im applying next yr for summer 06

oh... so can u actually apply to more than one governor school??

Each state is different. Ask your counselor or look for your state's gov. school online. In our state you can apply to as many as you want but you can only attend one. If you attend after sophomore year you can't apply the next year.

over30: do you know what the rules are for dc residents since we don't have a state gov. school?

Do you have a 'district' school? Hm... It's DC, there should be SOMETHING... Hm... Hm... Hm... Call the department of education and ask.

i live in NJ and u can only apply to one governor's school. i personally applied to science but was screwed because of extreme competition. another kid in my school applied to public issues and he got in even though he was much less qualified than me. by the way, are u a sopohomore or junior. if ur a junior, apps were due 6 months ago and the selections were made 3 months ago.

in PA you can apply to as many as you want, so i'm sure it varies.

I wish Massachusetts had a governor's school. It's ridiculous that they don't have one for all of the bright (and sometimes brilliant) kids in the state. ::sigh::
