Which High School classes look good to a college?

I am somewhat nervous about getting into college. I am in Maryland and I want to attend UCSB (out-of-state) so it is very important to me that I am ready. Here is what classes i will take/have taken:

Math:
Honors Algebra 1
Honors Geomentry
Honors Intermediate Algebra/DA
Honors Algebra 2/DA
Honors Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus
AP Statistics & Probability

English:
Honors English 1
Honors Global Perspectives in Lit & Comp
Honors Survey in American Lit & Comp
Honors British Lit & Comp

Science:
Honors Conceptual Physics
Honors Chemistry 1
Honors Biology 1
AP Physics

Social Studies:
Honors U.S. History
Honors Government
AP World History

Languages:
Spanish 1
Spanish 2
Honors Spanish 3

Arts:
Art 1

P.E. / Health:
Health 1
P.E. 1
Team Sports

Business & Tech:
Foundations of Technology
Honors Computer Tech
AP Computer Tech
Financial Literacy
Business Comm & Keyboarding
Business Law
Business Principles & Practices

I am interested in majoring in something along the lines of Business Admin or Computer something. I am interested in business and the business side of technology.

This is all my classes I will have by the time I graduate. I am only in 10th grade right now so it isnt set in stone. I have 2 more slots open for classes in Senior year, So I am not sure. Also I have gotten all A's so far except 2 B's

Here are my other options for the 2 slots:

Financial Management using Software Apps
E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship (fn mgt using sft apps is a pre-req)
AP Calculus AB
Honors Spanish 4
AP Economics?

I originally had AP Calc AB but then i realized it would be my 7th math, so idk. Should I still do it? I heard Calc, stat, and economics are the best AP's for business

Should I keep the AP Physics or not? I still have time to change it.

What exams are important to take? so far i am going to take:

SAT's (at least 2 times)
SAT subject tests (not sure how many)
ACT (maybe)
and the exams for all my AP classes, unless there is one or two you think I shouldn't take/can save the money)

Thanks for taking the time and reading all of this. I need all the advice I can get.

Quite frankly, they like to see APs. I look at your schedule and see three APs- one being Stats (widely considered an easy/blowoff AP) and one being an elective.

I’d definitely recommend AP Physics and AP Calculus, as well as any other APs you are interested in. I’d stray away from so many business electives. Colleges is where you learn about your major. Colleges want to see an interest in the major, sure, but the knowledge you gain in these classes is essentially useless, given you will relearn it all in college. They’d much rather accept a student with a well rounded rigorous course than a student with 10 business electives and only an average course load.

Why UCSB? Can you afford OOS tuition at UCSB?

UCs have pretty specific entrance requirements; they’re not overly daunting, but they are specific. Be sure to understand them.

i’d recommend calc over stat; even if stat will be more useful, you can take it in college, and calc looks more rigorous to colleges. it’s also a little concerning that you seem to be dropping both history and spanish your senior year, so with the extra classes you have left you should seriously consider continuing with at least one of them. and i agree with pancaked- you really don’t have to do all these business classes in high school. unless these classes are known for being unique to your school, you should probably put them off until college to take more core academics. (this is all assuming that you’re applying to very selective colleges, and i don’t know how selective UCSB is, so if they don’t care much about course rigor then you’re all set)
