I’m not entirely sure about what criteria they look for the most so I’ll just list out my application profile primarily extracurriculars because I heard the extended resume is a big factor. I’m unsure of which UT honors program is the best fit for my profile, in my own opinion my EC’s seem much more geared towards dean’s, but its also the most selective and I think I am lacking in stats for deans, and maybe all 3 programs in general.
Because I am non-auto, I don’t even expect to be admitted into the school, let alone honors, but for the sake of trying I want to put forth my best effort
I’m also applying plan 2, with a big emphasis of advocacy in my profile although im pre-med, if anyone has an idea on the difficulty of that
Asian male, north tx, competitive public
3.9 uw gpa, 5.1 w gpa, border of top 10% - NON AUTO ADMIT
(downward trend, used to have 4.0 + top 6%, got 4 b’s in junior year semesters that led to a big decline, slight extenuating circumstances that I may or may not put in covid essay not sure)
35 act 1540 sat
Extended resume goes in-depth on most research and other ec’s

I feel like, based on my ec’s, DEANS is by far the most oriented because research. But, deans is also the most selective, and my stats are defintely too low for deans as they might even be too low for UT in general, but I don’t know if I have a chance for HSS bcuz i have like 2 medicine ecs although I am pre-med, and I’m just not sure about poly either. Any help guidance regarding which to apply to or which is better would be nice!
