Which is better at Computer science? Haverford or Grinnell college

I am an international student and a huge tech nerd who got accepted at grinnell in the RD cycle and is currently waitlisted at haverford. I am currently so hesitant whether i should accept grinnell offer or wait for haverford one’s.

My question here is which one have a stronger CS department overall, better research and internship opportunities, better chance at studying at a great grad school, more academic atmosphere and most importantly better career opportunities.

I would be sincerely grateful for any further help.

Right now you don’t have a choice to make if these are your only two US schools…you don’t know if you will come off Haverford’s waitlist.

You will have to accept Grinnell’s offer by May 1 (assuming that is the date in the acceptance latter) or risk losing it, and you are unlikely to hear from Haverford before then, if you do come off the waitlist.

Meanwhile, look at each school’s course offerings in the course catalog, bios of the profs, and CS clubs/activities to help you understand what each school offers.

For an opinion regarding the quality of Grinnell’s CS department, note that it was one of six colleges I suggested in this topic for another student seeking a top-notch program:

Agree with @Mwfan1921 - waitlists are always highly unpredictable, and this year are even harder to gauge the usual! Put your deposit down.

Waitlists normally mean rejection.

Accept whatever college that is your first choice (by whatever criteria you have) among those that admitted you. If a waitlist college gives you admission, only then will you need to decide whether to go there instead (but losing the deposit at the first college).
