which is considered more prestigious

i lived in nyc for 12 years of my life...i currently live in nj...5 minutes from the george washington brigdge

Just because somebody has never heard of McGill doesn't mean that it isn't a great school. Sorry.

Worldwide when people name the top world colleges, McGill is near the top. People in Europe and Asian are not arguing about whether Rutgers or TCNJ are the better school. The well known US schools are Harvard and MIT. The well known British schools are Oxford (liberal arts) and Cambridge (science). The well known Japanese college is Univ of Tokyo. The competition for McGill worldwide is intense and they have no geographic quotas. It would be very interesting to go to school in that environment. It would help very, very much to know French.

The rankings in the PR Best Colleges Guide range between 99 and about 70. Incidently, what's wrong with Rutgers?

both my parents and all my relatives work in the city

"Incidently, what's wrong with Rutgers?"

thats what i was wondering

This thread has gotten so weird. It is like people are threatened because you don't want to go the same college that they do.

i know...honestly i have NO biased towards either

i was accepted to both...so im not hostile

i consider both great schools

the distance is the same from my hose so thats not a problem

i just wanted some opinions..not made up facts and critism

u realize tho that nobody out of mcgill does ibanking or high level jobs? 90% of them stay in canada or go to non-U.S. that is a fact, go to mcgill.edu and look it up.

dufus is really a dufus 'cause he keeps arguing with me about my OPINION.

you just saying that NOBODY of mcgill does has high level jobs...proves that this convo is pointless

pointless? Interns at Morgan Stanley from mcgill: 0
that's a fact.

show me where you got that piece of information...give me a link

yup no more responses...thats what i thought

i'm seasrching it up, wait

This thread reminds me of last year when I was talking to a pre-med senior in California. She had been waitlisted to med school at Vanderbilt. Anyway, I said something about Hopkins and she had never heard of it. When I said what a great school it was, she said "If it's that great, then how come I've never heard of it."

People aren't supposed to argue with their opinions; they are supposed to use facts. This is a website listing the companies that do on-campus recruiting (in management) at McGills:
<a href="http://www.mcgill.ca/management/career/bcom/who/%5B/url%5D">http://www.mcgill.ca/management/career/bcom/who/</a></p>

lol jk...im just playing with you...you dont have to look for things for me...lol..its my job to do the research

morgans stanleys on the list...lmao...thanks a bunch dufus3709!

That means 90% do work in canada dude.

and still we have no link to backup ANYTHING you said duke

dude maybe they just prefer to stay in canada...like believe it or not...

<a href="http://www.mcgill.ca/management/career/bcom/who/%5B/url%5D">http://www.mcgill.ca/management/career/bcom/who/</a>
10% work in USA

that's a link. As for morgan stanley, it is hard to find the link for their 2005 interns.

if its hard to even find a link...then how in the world would you know the information of the top of your head?
