Hello! I am very interested in becoming a lawyer and I was wondering which major would be better for law school prep:
Political Science with a concentration in American Government and Politics
or
History with a thematic concentration in Rights, Law and the State
Neither is necessarily better; both are majors that involve a lot of writing and critical thinking, which are important prep for law school. Both are also pretty common majors for law school hopefuls. So major in whichever one you like best.
I agree, both would be good. Have you taken the previous reqs for both? Which ones did you prefer or do better in?
Any major that you can do well in and practice reading, writing, and logical thinking.
