<p>Most colleges don’t even look at the writing section, so pay close attention to see if they do or do not.</p>
<p>For the ones that do: Send both
For the ones that don’t: Send the first</p>
<p>It probably does not make a difference. If the schools to which you are applying require all scores, then send in both. If they allow you to just report one, then go with either. just my opinion.</p>
<p>I’d go with a 35. The writing score is only 2 points lower and isn’t as important as the composite is to colleges in general.</p>
<p>but be careful, some schools, especially all of the ivys, stanford, etc, ask for a representation (and require) that you are sending them “all” scores. If you are applying to any such school, be on the safe side and simply send them both. Yes, the ACT is score choice, but some schools do ask that you self report all scores. Good luck.
p.s. why would you take it again after a 35???</p>
