choose a # and why?

This is something that has to interest you. All great professions

i know…i having a hard time deciding and if i dont choose in 3 weeks I WILL have to randomly pick…the thing is i have never found my passion. I know its somewhere in those 5 majors, BUT idk which one it is…so far i have taken minor and pre-req courses for each one. From where i stand i can major in any of those and finish in one year if i choose too…but which one idk

If you’re really not sure, and your career interests seem to be a combination of healthcare and technology, I’d go with a major that will support both those interests (so maybe Biotechnology?). But also, make sure that it can lead you to the careers you might be interested in. And then you could possibly have some kind of business or economics minor.

Yes good idea…but i will have to first graduate from this 2 year school first before i can do any double majors

What are you interested in the most? Have you tried working as an intern in any of those professions or as a shadow observing what they do? Which major seemed like the major you wanted to do? You’re not going to find a reasonable answer if you don’t list anything that you like doing or what you want to do.

This is on my personal preferences:

^These were based on my personal preferences. I cannot tell you what to do with your life and you shouldn’t let other people’s interests become yours. You have to find out what you want to do.

I’d go with bio med

This is a terrible way to pick a major and you really need to narrow down your interests. That being said, I’d pick number two, biotechnology.

1: Probably pretty fluffy, and you can always get an MPH, MBA or MHA after graduation to get into health administration.
3: You’ll probably have completed the pre-reqs for a PA program once you’ve majored in biotechnology, so that avenue remains open.
4: Can go back for an MBA.
5: This seems pretty random.

In short, the biotechnology route keeps the most doors open for you and still gives you some hope for a job after graduation. But seriously, time to do some information interviewing, forum crawling, internships, career center time, etc.

I appreciate all the feedback.I really do and i think i have found my passion AND im deciding to go with…drum roll…Computer Information System…:D. The truth is i didnt want to do IT, I wanted to do Computer Science (BUT MATH was too hard and i would have to be there for another two years) because i have a strong computer background and I am an Inventor!..I like designing things on my own.Im about to start making my own app soon. Those medical fields were there because my mom and stepmother want me to pursue HEALTHCARE because they believe its a safer route. However, Biomedical and Biotech still sound cool to me. In fact i think its the best of both worlds i can do my moms Medical and i can do my technology.EVERYONE HAPPY.I WILL LOVE SOME MORE FEEDBACK ON MY FINAL DECISION

The only issue is that my mom wont let me switch majors to biotech. She already furious about me wanting to change it because she paying my tution and dont want me to waste time in college.Fourtunely i am in a community college and can pursue more degrees afterwards. However, is it possible to smoothly transfer from IT to Biotech…or biomed?
