Which majors are pre-Ned? And can you please list them from easiest to hardes.
Pre-med typically refers to a set of courses that are required classes for admission to medical school (typically something like a year of biology, a year of general chemistry, a year of organic chemistry, a year of physics, a year of calculus, a year of English, among others–and it varies between schools). You can major in anything and still take these courses. Many students choose majors that include many of these classes in their required major courses, like biology. But other students choose to major in something completely different, like history or political science, and take the medical school prerequisite courses in addition to the courses required for their major.
Some schools have pre-med majors, but it’s generally recommended not to major in “pre-med” because it gives you very little options if you decide not to go to medical school.
