Which majors overlap Economics the most?

I am thinking about double-majoring so this is why I am wondering what are the majors that overlap with Economics the most?

Philosophy. Economics grew out of philosophy, after all. Smith, Ricardo, etc. were as much philosophers as economists, and the same could be said of Bastiat, Friedman, Sowell, Hayek, Coase and many modern econobloggers today.

Math and econ is good combination. I don’t know in terms of overlap, but they would complement each other well.

Statistics because a lot of upper level economics is statistics-based (My dad was an economics major).

Math, statistics, psychology, and sociology all have some overlap with areas of economics.

Overlap- history, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, math

Best combination- Econ and math. If you’re considering grad school in econ, it’s not about how much economics you know, it’s about how much math you know

Econ and math is a good idea.
