Our math course at our high school goes like this:

8th grade: Algebra I
9th grade: Geometry
10th grade: Algebra II
11th grade: PreCalculus (or Statistics)
12th grade: Calculus AB
And if you are ahead, they offer Calculus BC

The Statistics prerequisite is Algebra II
Calculus AB's prerequisite is PreCalculus.

I want to be able to take up to Calculus AB and I want to take Statistics as well, so I'm thinking I could take one of the earlier courses ahead of time (like geometry or algebra II)

Do you think it's a good idea? If so, specify which class you think I should take over the summer.

PS. I won't be able to double up on math, since my schedule is really packed in all four years
