My teacher told me to read only first and last sentences in each paragraph and read rest of the passage as I do the questions... But some passages are hard to do in this way. WHICH IS BETTER?

Reading all the passage and then do the questions

OR

read first and last sentences in each paragraph and then do the question(which is what ROCKET REVIEW tell the reader to do.)

Can you guys post ur method and the score plz?

I used half and half of those method in Junuary test and got 610.....
I am planning to take June test and I want to bring it up as high as I can

Use the blue book and take practice tests. Try their method and then try just reading it whole because you miss ALOT of little important detail if you don't.

I just read the passage first and then do the questions. It helps me reading it as a whole to understand the passage and see how it all comes together before I go to the questions. I've never been very comfortable with reading the questions first or reading the first and last sentence of each paragraph thing.

CR 800
I read one paragraph at a time, answer any questions that are contained in that paragraph and move on. After I have read the entire passage I answer the last few questions pertaining to the main ideas of the passage.

I found the idea of skipping the passage and trying to do the q's to be v. unnatural. Personally, I read fast, so I'm able to complete a section in 10-12 mins. Therefore, I generally read the passage first, and then for each question start reading from a few lines above the relevant portion.

The PR Method is crap. You'll start worrying about too many details and will miss the big picture. Just read it and then answer the questions.
k_twin: you work real fast...10-12 minutes a section!
