<p>there's TONS of great adolescent/highschool movies though</p>

<p>DAZED AND CONFUSED is the BOMB, greatest highschool/stoner/post-vietnam genre movie ever....."You gotta be Livin' man L-I-V-I-N." "You know what I like about high school girls, man? I keep gettin older,....they stay the same age."</p>

<p>Hmm...I don't know. Movies make college seem all busy and fratty and focus group-y. Kids are a lot more listless in college. The ones who party all the time don't look or act like the ones that don't.</p>

<p>I can't think of any that do it right. For high school, though, I always thought "Can't Hardly Wait" did pretty well, at least for my town.</p>

<p>The tv show Felicity was a decent depiction in my opinion.</p>

<p>Of course the show could get really melodramatic, but its the most honest depicition ive seen yet.</p>

<p>I think the TV show Felicity depicts college life very well as well. The college years of TV shows like Dawson's Creek, The OC, and Boy Meets World are much better at depicting college life than movies, although that's probably because they make life, versus college, their main focus.</p>
