800M is the most impressive because you can’t make any mistakes.

800 CR because despite the fact that i am an extremely avid reader since 1st grade, i only got a 580 on the practice tests. Writing and Math, i feel, are more technical and easier to perfect.

I’m really surprised that the answers to this question are really divisive. I guess it’s much more subjective and based on personal experience than anything.

I find 800W to be the most impressive. Even though the multiple choice isn’t especially difficult (IMHO), the grading of the essay can be subjective.

800 W is the most impressive in my book. An 800 M can be easily achieved if you study with the right materials (cough Gruber’s cough), and an 800 CR can just be as easily achieved if you use the correct method. However, as others have stated before, you need to have a strong grasp on grammar and get a good score on your essay (and no, filling both pages doesn’t necessarily guarantee you a double-digit score).

800 Writing is like nothing to me lol

I’ve gotten 800 Writing three times already (I’ve taken the test a total of four times)

CR is by far, the hardest imo

I change my mind. 800 W. I don’t know why I epic fail at it so much. Math is kind of hard with all the silly mistakes. Atleast CR is decently straightforward. Ugh.

Not really. If you’re using the correct strategy, it won’t be that way anymore! For me, right after the January '10 SAT, I discovered this awesome new technique that could have boosted my CR score (700) by at least 50 points. I tried it on a couple of Blue Book tests – it worked like a charm. With my previous methods, my scores were generally in the high-600’s-low-700’s range. I’m definitely going to use this new strategy for the June SAT… let’s see what happens!

800 W b/c I can never get it.

CR wins this. hands down.

Whats the new strategy fledgling?
PM me if you can’t post it here.

@ hahalolk: I PM’ed you. :)

800 CR.
800 CR and 800CR.
CR.

PM me too!

@fledgling Please PM your CR strategy too. I’m desperate to improve my CR.

Oh, my opinion for this thread. CR of course.

^ PM’ed both you guys.

800 CR… as a science/math guy, I don’t do as much reading as I should, and I only got a 540 on the reading. It was my worst grade. I would imagine an 800 on the math math to be easy (got a 700 on it, only 4 questions wrong, so I’m not far off), and an 800 can’t be that hard (especially because the essay seems to be very subjective and biased based on factors like length - I wrote a full two pages but I felt my essay wasn’t incredibly strong, yet I got a 10/12).

800 M because I struggle with that the most. The problems require knowledge of a rage of different math concept and formulas also there’s a time limit. These factors make the students who score perfectly look like geniuses in my eyes.

CR, hands down.

fledgling PM me too D=
My CR is not terrible (680) but it’s the worst section for me
