Which of these schools is better for undergraduate accounting?

Hi, I’m planning to be an accountant, but I’m having difficulty choosing which school to attend for undergrad. Can you please rank the following schools? Thanks!

UC San Diego
UC Santa Barbara
UC Irvine
UC Riverside
Cal Poly Pomona
San Diego State University

UCSB is a pretty good choice from that list.

SDSU is good, but unless you specifically want to work in San Diego upon graduation, you probably have better choices.

I’d probably cross CPP off the list.

You could also do 4 years at the UC of your choice, then go to USC or somewhere for a one year masters in tax or accounting.

@arc918 Keep in mind that admission to the high ranking MS in Accounting programs are very competitive so it is never a “given” that one will be able to attend (even if the program is affordable for the one year).

Agreed, I’m operating under the assumption that a student with the academic chops to get into all those UCs will do well in their undergrad studies.
