Which of these two books are better for my Multivariable/Lin Algebra course?

Amazon.com: Advanced Calculus of Several Variables (Dover Books on Mathematics) (9780486683362): C. H. Edwards Jr.: Books

Amazon.com: How to Ace the Rest of Calculus: The Streetwise Guide, Including Multi-Variable Calculus (9780716741749): Colin Adams, Abigail Thompson, Joel Hass: Books

The first one seems too technical but the second seems too easy and brief and talks about BC Calc stuff a bit too much.

Anyone have any opinions or suggest any other prep books?

It depends on the teachers.
