Which one from these institutions is the best academically and which one has the best carrier placement options?

Boston University
Babson College
Bentley college
Northeastern
Lake Forest College
Ohio Wesleyan University
Bryant University
Indiana University at Bloomington
University of Miami
Syracuse University

I know that schools are different from each other, but still, please rank them by specific order.

Career placement for what industry? If you want to work at Big Four Boston, then Bentley College without a doubt. If you want to be a banker, Indiana University.

O and I’m majoring in international business, entrepreneurship or management. It depends on school (In which of these three majors is the school stronger)

If entrepreneurship, then Babson College is probably ur best bet. But Babson will only get u a degree in business, nothing else. its a business school (excellent school), but I don't like how the student body is so small (I think 1700 Undergraduate TOTAL).

I'd say University of Miami for three reasons.

First, it doesn't have the grade deflation like BU does. This can be a major problem for graduate schools.

Second, it is already higher ranked than BU at 54th versus 57th and more selective.

Lastly, the weather in Miami is great during the winter months and Miami is soon going to be a Top 50 ranked school in both selectivity and overall ranking.

Don't graduate schools understand that some universities have more strict system of grading? As I know at Babson 3.0 is considered as a good GPA. Does it mean that Babson students can't get in good graduate schools?
I like university of Miami, but do you think we must only trust rankings? If we talk about ranking, I think it will be more logical to look at “best undergraduate business program ranking”. It is also not logical. Georgetown is on 25th place while University of Arizona, Arizona state, Purdue and some others are on the better positions. They all are good schools, but better than Georgetown in business? I think it is funny. Northeastern is also underrated (62nd place if I remember correctly). Publics are ranked very high. Indiana University for example. and if it is really that great why do people still prefer Boston college, Georgetown, Boston university and other prestigious colleges which are bellow IU in the ranking. Can someone please tell me the reason?
I don’t trust rankings, that why I ask you CC users, I just want to know, without rankings, which school (or schools) in my list is considered more prestigious in my major (entrepreneurship, or international business) so that I can easily go to the best graduate schools in the country and plus have the good job opportunities.

The USNews business program ranking does have some issues because it only uses on data source. Take a look at the BW rankings for a second opinion:

The BW ranking incorporates a feeder school measure which sounds like it would be of interest to you.

And CC users aren't more trustworthy than rankings. If you think the average teenager on this website has more knowledge of the various business programs than people whose job it is to make rankings, then you are already starting off from a pretty misinformed position.

Yes, MBA programs and other graduate schools do understand that grade deflation exists at some schools.

With that being said ask yourself, would you like to have your candidacy be dependent on the graduate school possibly knowing about your undergrad insitution's tough grading policy, or would you like to have a strong grade point average so they don't have to wonder and guess about your gpa?

Go to the business program that will have the most recruiters and internship/job opportunities from prestigous firms such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group etc...

Yes, these may all be investment banks or consulting firms, but the bottom line is that they are ALL EXTREMELY tough to get into out of undergrad and if they recruit heavily from your school, you will have MANY more employers to choose from.

It is no surprise that Wharton receives the most recruiters and internship/job possibilities from the previously mentioned companies and has the best placement rate at the previously mentioned schools when compared to all other business programs.

Guess where Wharton ranks?...............That's right it is #1 for undergraduate business nad has been that way for quite some time.

RANKINGS DO MATTER, because as you go down the rankings, you will notice that the number of opportunities and actual job offers given to graduates from the companies I have mentioned goes down.

"Go to the business program that will have the most recruiters and internship/job opportunities from prestigious firms such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Co., Boston Consulting Group etc..."

Can you please tell me where can I find this information? (Business program that has most recruiters and job opportunities?)

“RANKINGS DO MATTER” Yes they matter, but I think they matter in case of Wharton for example, Wharton is on the first place, ok its very nice, yes it receives the most recruiters and this is one of the main reasons why it is on the first place, but why is Bentley for example on 41st place? As Dawgie mentioned Big Four recruit from Bentley College. Why is Villanova on 82nd place? I mean there are plenty of Universities that are less prestigious and have less job opportunities that are in front of Villanova in the ranking.

Qwertip. By asking CC users for help I mean advises like Dawgie gave me. It does not mean that I won’t check it, but he said the thing that is not said in the ranking. If someone asks me which university is the best in my Country, I won’t advise him the university which is on the first place in the ranking. Because I’m native and know the “market” well. Do you really think that Boston University, Boston college, Wake Forest University, Bentley, Babson, Georgetown, University of Notre Dame, Villanova, Northeastern are worse (in job placement or academics) than Arizona State University, University of Arizona, University of Colorado, University of Iowa or even Ohio State University? The ranking says that they are! And if it is so why people with the lower SAT scores go to the second list of institutions and people with higher scores to the first group? Why most people want to go to the Universities listed in the first group? And if we trust ranking than we also must conclude that prestigious firms recruit more people from University of Arizona than from Georgetown for example. I’m not American and I can’t be fully informed in US educational system, but in my country Boston University, Georgetown and some others from the first group are well known, wile no one knows about the universities listed in the second list.
