Which one of these bachelor's CS programs is the best If I want to go to to USA for a master's?

In my country most of the computer science programs are a mix between computer science and engineering.

I want to go to the US for my master’s degree and i’m wondering if this program would be good if i would like a master’s in computer science?

The program courses: https://student.portal.chalmers.se/en/chalmersstudies/programme-information/Pages/SearchProgram.aspx?program_id=1308&grade=1&conc_id=-1&parsergrp=1

Or would this one at KTH be better? The courses are near the bottom https://www.kth.se/student/kurser/program/CDATE-20172.pdf?l=en

Is Chalmers program lacking something important? I would rather attend Chalmers than KTH. I guess the coursework completed during the bachelor is pretty important to be accepted at an MS program? The KTH program seems to be more pure CS than Chalmers program which seems to be a mix between computer science and engineering.

The title of the bachelor’s would be: “bachelor’s of science in computer science and engineering”

I think they are fairly similar. I liked KTH over Chalmers for some reason. I think it was the way the courses were laid out, it seems more fluid, not sure. However, there are many ways to be seen as viable for American schools, being able to pay your own way is one, also having a lot of research experience or having creative projects under your belt. Try reaching out to a Universities that you like and ask them about their international student programs.

Finally if you can, try study abroad, that is one really great way to see if you will even like US schools.

It is perfectly OK for you to ask the departments where their graduates go for grad school. They should be happy to give you that kind of information.

@collegehackI
Thanks.
I think I will be able to pay for most schools, I have a budget of around $90k and there are many foundations here in Sweden that give money to people who are doing their master’s or higher education abroad. Research experience will be harder as it’s pretty rare to research during the undergrad in Europe but I will try to get some.

Chalmers only allow master’s students to go abroad and that’s both positive and negative. It’s positive because I heard of Chalmers students that go to Stanford during their exchange year can continue on with a second year and graduate with a master’s degree from Stanford. Chalmers funds the first year. I don’t know if that’s the case with their other exchange universities like Georgia Tech but that would be amazing. I am basically guaranteed admission to Chalmers and Kth:s master’s programs if i complete my bachelor’s there with satisfying results.

Alright, thanks I will definitely do that!
