I major in civil engineering, I got MEng AD from UCB, with an award of 1 semester tuition waive.
and an Phd Offer from RPI in earthquake engineering. </p>

<p>If money is a big issue then RPI is the obvious choice. UCB is a great option, but paying for housing and the second semester could be expensive.
What type of job are you interested in after graduation? I think the school will only be a big factor if plan on entering academia.</p>
<p>How about RPI’s reputation? Is RPI’s offer comparable to UCB’s AD? I prefer working in a design company to do practical project, while being a faculty also sounds like a good choice.
I can afford the expenses studying in UC-Berkeley, while RPI’s offer also attracts me~
