Which ones should I take and when???

Yeah, I have until the end of today to register for the May 6th date, and haven't even decided which ones I'm taking. So I need a little help. I'm definitely taking the English Lit. one and the MathIC. BUT I don't know about the other.

I want to take either the Spanish or Bio E/M test. I'm already taking the IB and AP bio tests, so maybe taking Bio E/M would be redundant and a waste of time...? I'm not taking any IB or AP Spanish tests (those come next year--I'm a junior) so maybe taking the Spanish SAT would be better? BUT I want to major in Biochemistry, so perhaps Spanish would be kind of useless. (Even though I do want to continue taking it in college, and I'd probably score higher on this test.)

So which one should I take??

If Bio, then given my predicted major, should I go for M even though it's a little harder for me?

If Spanish, should I take it w/o listening first, and then listening in Nov, or just wait for the listening test? (I do well on oral/listening tests.)

Also, if I get a score back and I don't like it, is there another date to retake them? Or can I just not submit the lowest test to a college, or will they see them anyway?

And if I apply to a college early action, which requires you to apply by Nov. 1st in some cases, I would be stuck with my original SAT scores, right?

Sorry for all the questions....if anyone can answer any of them, I'd appreciate it!

Here's a load off your back - you only need to register for Literature today. On May 6 when you walk into the test center, you can tell them that you'd like to take one or two additional tests, or you can switch the Literature test for another one. You get a book with all the subject tests when you take them, and the College Board will bill you for any additional tests that you take after they receive your tests.

Wow...thanks! That definitely helped. Now I know I'll have the time to ask my guidance councelor about whether I should take the bio test or the spanish test.

And you should just take the bio test anyways, since you are already taking the IB/AP tests. An easy 800 would be nice :) (well of course you should still prep a little..)

Haha no, I don't think it will be an "easy" 800....I'm not that good!

And if anyone knows, can you tell me if colleges will see all of my SATII scores? Or can I choose to submit the ones I want?

Colleges will see all of your SAT II scores, just like they will see all of your SAT I scores.

The College Board is just cool like that. ;)

When I registered, I didn't put down that I wanted them to send my scores to any colleges. But they'll still see them when I apply anyway? I guess they're on my transcript wheter I like it or not?
