Which ones to take....Help!

Hello, so, I have taken 3 subject tests so far (in May):

Biology M: 740
Math II: 790
US: 670

I'm not bothering with US again. Should I retake Math II? (I got 800s on BARRONS practice tests...so I thought I would surely get an 800 on the real thing...though I don't want to look pretentious to colleges if they see I retook a 790....)...as for Bio M, I took honors bio freshman year (A), and AP Bio this year (A)....and definitely got a 5 on the exam...so, I know a 740 is good, but I know I can do far better (I choked on some of the lab-questions by totally overthinking them....also, I think the curve was harsh for that test)....maybe I should take ecology instead?

In terms of definites this June, I'm taking physics one way or another. Then, I have 2 open spots (though I may only take 2...seeing as a third might be too much...); I have options to retake math II/bio as I explained, but I also want to take lit....

What do you think I should do? (I will be applying to Ivies/top tier schools, and I want to major in physics, or some hard science...though some want a humanities subject test and my US (670) is not good).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All the Ivies now require only 2 Subject tests, you have fullfilled requirements at all most all the top schools, except for Georgetown,
which still requires 3 tests and yes 3 different tests, only Georgetown though. So dont worry about history, since you do have score choice, I would strongly suggest for you take physics since you may end majoring in a physics related field.

Thanks for the input. Any feedback with regard to lit/retaking the tests?

Wow I am worried now, I’ve heard people who said they got 700 on Barrons’ and 800 on the real thing, I, like you got an 800 on Barron’s and found it really easy, I hope I get an 800 on the real thing.

Also no need to retake bio, the score is fine, retake math 2 however since I’m pretty sure it was fluke considering you got an 800 on the practice test. I would not take lit, I really think you should take physics or chemistry depending on what hard science you want to major in.

from what i’ve heard, past a certain point…a 770/780/790/800 won’t make or break you. colleges recognize that so I doubt it will make or break you. go for lit!
