i know this is probably a very popular question, but i would really appreciate any advice. im a high school junior and im taking ap english language/composition, ap biology, ap us history, precal, spanish iii, and chemistry. I recently took the SAT and got a 770 on both writing and critical reading, and a 720 on math.

i already decided i would take one of the math tests, but would it look better if i took the math 2 test over math 1?

as for the other 2 tests i plan to take, im deciding between us history, spanish, literature, and biology. if i get a good enough score (at least 600) on spanish, i would get the same college credit as if i scored a 4-5 on the ap test at some of the schools im looking at. personally, i am more of a english/writing person, but im studying out of barron's literature book right now, and its really challenging...im taking the ap biology exam around the same time, so do u think it covers a lot of stuff on the biology subject test?

sorry i have so many questions but thanks for listening.

you will definitely be ready for the BIO Subject Tests, and if your finding literature difficult you could always take the US History Test which is similar to the multiple choice portion for the AP USH Test

I thought the schools only gave college credit for AP tests? I've never heard of them doing it for SAT IIs. Which schools do that?! Are you positive?

I took the English lit test and got a 5 with no prep at all. If you're an A student in AP English you won't need to prep.

yeah i looked at a couple ivy league colleges online and some of them offer credit for sat subject language tests, or at least higher placement in the foreign language classes (which are required at those colleges)

these are the ones i know for spanish:

harvard 600
upenn 650 *
columbia 780 *

*lower scores can at least get you in a higher foreign language class

unless the webpages i looked at are outdated...
