If you actually want friends by the end of your freshmen year live in hill

Kings Court also has a dining hall downstairs, although they're closed on weekends.

Hill's dining hall is like all the others; some days the food is not bad to pretty good, and other days it's kind of sketchy. Most of the time there's at least something that looks decent (and worst case, there's always the salad bar) I like Kings, just because they tend to have those "Exhibition Stations" where they make the food right in front of you, to your customization (things like fried rice, stir fried noodles, etc.) The downside is that those can take a while.

So are there benches the line locust walk?

depends on what part of locust you mean

but there are places to sit just about everywhere

are there places on locust walk that are just lined with benches?

i fail to see why this is so important

there's a few benches scattered in college green, though not technically part of locust walk

there are metal benches by the alumni house and by castle; there's wooden benches next to steiny-d and into annenberg plaza there's stuff

there's a big plaza and a few benches by the compass

there's more tables and chairs by huntsman / abp, as well as a bench by the bridge

there's tables outside commons

and there's a few benches between the tampons and 40th

happy?

My guess is that he wants to know so he can include that in his essays.

in that case, i should inform you that relatively few students take the time to lounge on the benches, so an allusion to enjoying the benches on locust will sound trite and overgeneralized

so no one actually uses benches?

and yes, I want to include benches in my essay. I visited Penn, sat on a bench, and ate a delicious sandwich. But I forgot if the bench was on locust walk or near the compass.

eh it's rare

and you know that the compass is on locust walk, right... so it doesn't matter

lol I used to sit on the benches in the summer to wait for my parents. I got soooo many mosquito bites
