<p>If it says a professors name on schedule.berkeley.edu, does it mean an actual professor will teach the course? if it's blank or says STAFF, does that mean a GSI?</p>
<p>If it says staff, it could be anyone, but I think staff usually means some sort of lecturer or professor. As to blank, it's up in the air (as far as I know). GSIs usually teach the R and C classes, but some GSIs are far more helpful and caring than some professors. Shop around.</p>
