Hi guys! I have a question. Hope you can give me some advice!
I have two math teachers, one in sophomore year (taught me algebra 2), which is also the my first math teacher in this school, one for junior and senior year (Math SL and HL). The former is also my math club sponsor and can have better to write, but I’m afraid that the class rigor she taught me was very low compare to the latter SL and HL teacher.
Which one to choose? Or to let both of them write (but two math recons are too much and repetitive)?
That’s a hard one, but I lean toward the one who also runs math club assuming you’ve been an active participant. But if you think you’ve really developed as a mathematical thinker since sophomore year you might want to go with a more recent teacher. I think in your shoes, I talk to the math club teacher and ask her what she thinks. She might put in some comments from your more recent teachers for example.
Thank you for replying! @mathmom I decided to ask math club teacher to write since it will be a lot to write about (I’m the president). She knows me very well in all the activities. I feel it’s better to let someone know me well than seeking for the course level, right?
