I'm about ready to order my review books and start flipping through them. So can you guys tell me the specific review books (Princeton Review, Barrons etc) and edition that i should get for these specific books? Thanks.

For AP Psych I highly recommend Barrons. My method with the book was to read the assigned book from school, then read the corresponding chapter in Barrons. I would also highlight stuff the school assigned book did not mention, or just facts I thought were important. Each chapter has 15 questions at the end of the chapter I never did them, until one month before the AP test, I started reviewing the whole book agian. Did a chapter a day and was done in 2 weeks time. And took the 15 question mini-quizzes this time. Basically I read the whole Barrons book twice. I honestly enjoyed reading it, and it was def. was NOT boring to me. Then I took the 2 real length practice test at the end, and they were harder then the actual test. I made a 5 on the test, but honestly the AP test felt like a chore, it was too easy for me…barrons prepared me like a spartan haha. (btw, each chapter is straight to the point, with good examples, and usually 5-8 pages)

thanks man, but which edition? should i just buy the latest edition? and do you know anything about AP Comparative Government.

For AP Comparative Government, buy Ethel Woods. (the latest edition)

Newest edition, it’s the 5th. I’ve seen the 3rd and it’s not that different, so don’t worry to much if you don’t get the newest. But you’ll probably will only find the new one. Good Luck in AP Psych. ;)

AP Psych - Barrons (any edition)

AP Comp Gov - Ethel Wood guide

I dont think there is any difference between older and later versions other than the new ap exam scoring guidelines. Regarding material, it shouldn’t be much different.
