Just wondering, I am touring colleges next month and RU is on my list to tour in the North East / Mid Atlantic. I was wondering which campus would be best - Camden, NB, or Newark, I am leaning towards to the latter two just for the fact that they are closer to NYC; however, I want to hear the pros and cons of both. I intend on studying either Poly Sci and International Finance or Pre-med and Mandarin. Thanks
New Brunswick is the flagship and is higher quality and more prestigious than the other two. The other 2 are smaller urban schools with limited housing. They are much more commuter schools than NB. NB includes College Ave, Busch, Livingston, and Cook/Douglas. You will have to take a bus between the different residential campuses to get to your classes. First thing you should do is check where your majors of interest are offered. Then see if you are in the ballpark for NB acceptance. If you want a smaller school, skip NB. If you want the rah rah of a big ten school, go to NB. Don’t bother with Camden.
Thanks, it sounds like NB is the one I want to tour!
