Rutgers New Brunswick / Newark

Hi everyone! I was just wondering what your opinions are about Rutgers New Brunswick and Rutgers Newark. I applied to both these schools and I just wanted to see what things people had to say about the overall campus, the location (is the neighborhood good/safe), what the education is like, what kind of people there are, etc. I, being an out-of-state student, don't really know that much about the different campuses. I visited New Brunswick once but I didn't really see the whole campus and it was a very short visit. I'm planning on visiting these schools once I get on summer break but I'd still like to know what are your thoughts about these campuses? Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

rutgers new brunswick is the biggest of all the rutgers campuses. it is sepated into 4 "campuses". to get from one to another you just take a short bus ride on a rutgers bus, which are on a constant schedule. each one of the campuses has its own feel. for example, college ave is more urban and busch is more suburban. because of the different campuses, rutgers will fit whatever type of setting you want (you get to choose where you live). the campuses also make rutgers feel smaller than its 20k+ population. the education is great as long as you take it seriously and dont slack off too much. you get all the resources of a huge research university at your fingertips. cost is a plus too, especially for in-state students. but even for you, an out of stater, it will be a good 10k+ cheaper that almost every private university
