Does Stanford require three specific SAT II's for admission? Or will it just take the three highest SAT II's scores?

My friend got four 800's on physics, chemistry, biology, and math iic; is that ok for admission?

They probably want a humanities, especially writing. In fact I may vaguely remember the website requiring Writing, Math IIc, and one of your choice. But I definitely could be wrong.

what will be a good writing score for Stanford? 700? 750?

i think writing and math iic are required, like JLP said.

700+ puts you in the range where they don't even pay attention to your scores anymore, I think. But 650+ is fine too. Anything less than that, however....

phew I got 650

i'm class of 2006, and stanford require new SAT (contains writing); so does that mean stanford now only requires two subjects from SAT II?

i think on their website they said they still require three, just now the third cant be writing. and i know they strongly recommend math2c.

none r required. they are all just "strongly reccommended"

which pretty much means required if youre even thinking about applying.

last year, alot of ppl were admitted w/o them.

did these ppl w/o the "strongly recommanded" SAT II's get in?

i think thats what she just said....? confused.

lol, thats exactly what i just said.
thats what an admissions officer told me.

thx, guys

does stanford want u to send ap scores too?
