Facts about my life:
I want to be a criminal and corporate lawyer.
I want to major in Political sceince and maybe philosphy.
My dream school is UVA, but I also want to schools like UF( please do not lecture me about me school decisions)
Reason for post: My sister said its not wise to take both World Histor and U.S history as a subject test and I should be diversifying my tets( meaning try science, math , etc)
Does colleges actually care what subject test you do??
yes, they do.
take a range of tests in different subjects-and if you will be taking AP lang take the English test as well.
Where SAT subject test are required or even optional, the school will list if they require a math and/or science test. Check out the admissions requirements for that school. UVA SAT subject test are optional, but taking a math or science would likely be a bet more competitive (considering UVA’s holistic admissions) and most would recommend you take one, but it’s not required.
Schools like UF, don’t require the SAT subject test and will not consider them/u.
